Luminus SST40 & Smart Memory
Utilizes a premium Luminus SST40 LED to deliver a maximum of 1800lm. The BD40 features a Memory Function: there is no need to cycle through modes every time you dive. The mode active when powered off will be memorized and instantly ready when you turn the dive torch back on (excluding Strobe).
Crystal Clear 6° Concentrated Beam
Whether you are underwater or on land, visibility is key. The BD40 dive torch uses an SMO reflector paired with an AR-coated 4mm tempered lens to provide a perfectly clear, concentrated beam at 6 degrees. It effortlessly pierces through murky waters, illuminating reefs and marine life up to 351 meters away.
High-Capacity 21700 Battery & Protection
Powered by a single 21700 5000mAh Lithium battery, this dive torch provides an extended runtime of 1H54mins in High mode and up to 7 Hours in Low mode. It includes Reverse Polarity Protection against incorrect battery installation, and an automatic Discharge Protection function that downshifts the light when power is low to safely end your dive.
150 Meters Water Pressure Resistant
Constructed from aircraft-grade high-strength aluminum material, the body of the BD40 dive torch is built to withstand crushing depths. With a certified water pressure resistant rating of 150 meters, its compact size makes it less bulky and easy to handle underwater.
Stainless Steel Switch & Power Indicator
The desired mode (High-Low-Strobe) is easily selected via the anti-corrosion stainless steel side switch. A built-in LED power indicator makes it easy to accurately determine your remaining battery status. It also features an Automatic Lock Function after 3 minutes of inactivity to avoid false triggers in your gear bag.

Is the BD40 dive torch used as a primary or backup light?
The BD40 is highly versatile. With its powerful 1800 lumens and 6-degree concentrated beam, it serves perfectly as a primary light for recreational diving. Because of its compact size and robust 150m waterproof construction, many technical divers also use it as a highly dependable backup light for deep diving.
How does the memory function work?
The memory function ensures that whatever brightness mode (High or Low) you were using before turning the dive torch off will be saved. When you turn the torch back on, it instantly returns to that exact mode, saving you from cycling through the menu underwater (Note: Strobe mode is not memorized for safety reasons).
How do I know when the battery is running low underwater?
The stainless steel side switch features a built-in LED power indicator. It will display Green for ample power, Red for low power, and Flash Red when critically low. Additionally, the built-in discharge protection will automatically downshift the brightness to extend runtime when the battery is nearly depleted, ensuring you are never left in sudden darkness.
