How far can the SPERAS M4 actually throw?
Despite being tiny, it punches way above its weight. Because we paired the Luminus SFT40 LED with a custom TIR lens, the beam is incredibly focused. You'll get a solid 700 meters of throw on Turbo mode, which is crazy for a pocket light.
Can I use a larger 18650 battery in this?
Absolutely. Out of the box, it comes with a short 18350 battery for max portability. But if you're going camping and need longer runtimes, just grab the optional M4 Plus Battery Tube. It swaps right on and lets you run standard 18650 batteries.
Does it overheat at 2000 lumens?
Physics dictates that pushing 2000 lumens from a small metal tube will create heat. But don't worry—the M4 has a built-in smart temperature regulator. Once it gets too warm, it automatically steps down the brightness so you don't burn your hand or fry the LED.
How do I stop it from turning on in my bag?
We built an electronic lockout directly into the switch. Just click it a few times (check the manual for the exact sequence) and the light is totally disabled. It won't accidentally turn on and drain your battery while bouncing around in your backpack.
