How does the battery capacity test work?
The ZT20 allows you to test the true capacity of your batteries, preventing you from using degraded cells. When in test mode, the charger intelligently cycles the battery to determine its actual mAh capacity, displaying the final accurate result right on the LCD screen.
Can I charge a large 26650 battery and a small 14500 at the same time?
Yes! The ZT20 features independent dual slots. The smart chip automatically detects the type and voltage of the battery inserted into each slot and adjusts the charging current accordingly, allowing you to safely mix and match different battery sizes and chemistries simultaneously.
What is the Li-ion battery restoration feature?
If you have a Li-ion battery that has been over-discharged (meaning its voltage dropped too low and it appears "dead"), standard chargers often cannot recognize it. The ZT20 applies a safe, low-current activation process to try and restore the battery's voltage back to normal charging levels, potentially saving your expensive batteries.
